This is the 2005 edition in perfect, like new condition and consists of seven discs and the book.

An excellent and extensive (7 discs!) presentation of War of the Worlds. Making of DVD, 5.1 Surround, Remixes, Out-takes, Early versions, Unused Songs, complete unabridged narrative etc... it's got everything. The collector's edition has pockets that keep the disc's securely in place to avoid damaging and slipping. Each disc comes with its own slip sleeve that details the disc contents. The 12" hardbound cover is a large size picture book, with beautiful reproductions of the original illustrations, new illustrations, and updated bios of the artists.
